
Dr Gaurav Singh
Gaurav is a specialist Neurologist with sub-speciality training in Neurophysiology and Neuromuscular medicine. He completed his Neurology training in Queensland at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, followed by a combined fellowship year in both hospitals sub-specialising in neurophysiology testing and neuromuscular disorders.
He has special expertise in nerve conduction studies and EMG, diagnosing and treating disorders of
nerve and muscle, as well as Botulinum toxin treatment of various neurological conditions. He works
as a Staff Specialist at the Gold Coast University Hospital where he looks after a broad range of
neurological conditions and has an interest in complex and rare neurological conditions.
Gaurav is involved in Neurology and Neurophysiology training for neurology registrars, fellows and
neurophysiology scientists. He is a senior lecturer at Griffith University and University of Queensland.
He is also involved in various multinational trials in neuromuscular diseases including motor neuron
disease, myasthenia gravis and peripheral neuropathies.
He is a fellow of Royal Australian College of Physicians and a Diplomate with American Board of
Electrodiagnostic medicine.
